One thing that I love about Rochester, is that there seems to be an “anything goes” mentality when it comes to fashion. Let’s say you have reservations at a high-end restaurant for dinner, you can show up in a dress and a fur or you can roll in with ripped jeans and a down jacket. From heels to sneakers, NorthFaces to minks, there appears to be no real dress code here; no fight to out-dress and out-do. Maybe it’s because it’s so damn cold most of the time, but all I can say, is that after growing up outside NYC it’s nice to live in a place where people aren’t so concerned about “who you are wearing.”
Here are two date night looks that I wore back to back weekends for dinner in the city. In neither outfit did I feel out of place, overdressed, underdressed, or uncomfortable. Love that!

Let’s talk date night in Rochester: where do you go and what do you wear?
