I know… I know…
I’ve been on a two month hiatus, but things have been crazy-busy and when something has got to give, it tends to be this space.
So what have you missed?
Well, the A-list Pool Party coincided with Emergency Alerts and Flash Flood Warnings so once again we had to move indoors. It literally keeps raining on my parade! Despite the lack of an actual rooftop pool, hundreds of you still braved the torrential down pour to get your shop local on and treat yo’self at the Allora and Shear Ego pop up salons. The rain may have dampened the ground, but it did not dampen our spirits. I am starting to wonder if I should stop playing Russian Roulette with Rochester weather though…
Here’s a fun little recap by Julia Hart Productions:
In August, I became a founder and Market Mentor with MONAT Global Haircare and earned an all-expense paid trip to Cabo. This whole network marketing thing has been an unintended, crazy/wild ride that I wouldn’t change for the world and I just need you to know how much I appreciate your flexibility and support as I juggle all the facets of my business(es) and adjust to this new normal. Everything about these last six months have been pinch-me-worthy awesome and I am designing the life I’ve always wanted. Time freedom. Financial Freedom. Working in fashion and beauty. Mentoring. Coaching. Producing. Don’t think for a minute that I don’t realize how truly blessed I am and how grateful I am for the support you have given me over the years as I journeyed from hobby blogger, to businesswoman to stylist and personal shopper and now network marketing guru/shampoo tiger. You guys rock.
You know what else rocked? Rocella! Although I hated having to step down from the creative team, I was blown away by what Rochester A-List and Roc City Creative were able to do. What started as a simple dream of wouldn’t it be cool if Rochester had its own little Coachella – to truly bring that so-cal/boho vibe to College Town Rochester. These girls knocked it out of the park. Here’s a little taste from the finale of Rocella – a Boho Fashion Show to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital:
We should be back to a weekly posting schedule from here on out, so let me know what you want to read about. I always welcome suggestions from my readers!
Make it a great week!
